Intensive Trauma Therapy
At The Garden Intensives, our individual therapy intensives provide a focused, trauma-informed setting where you can finally move beyond the patterns that keep you stuck.
Deep Healing Work
An individual intensive is a custom, one-on-one therapeutic immersion that condenses months of therapy into a few days of focused healing.
It's ideal for adults navigating:
Unresolved trauma or PTSD
Feeling 'stuck' after years of therapy
Anxiety, grief, or emotional burnout
Relationship or boundary patterns that repeat
Post-treatment or post-wilderness transitions
"Each intensive is designed around your goals, integrating psychodrama, expressive arts, and somatic awareness to help you experience change, not just talk about it."
The Intensive Advantage
Traditional therapy unfolds over months of 50-minute sessions. An intensive creates the space for uninterrupted, sustained work so you can dive deeper and integrate more fully.
Many clients experience breakthroughs that previously felt out of reach—progress that might take months in weekly therapy.
Experiential work engages both mind and body, bypassing overthinking and allowing emotions to move and resolve.
You'll have the full attention of your therapist in a private, trauma-informed setting where safety and pacing come first.
After our intensives end, you will be equipped with tools and insight. We work to ensure you are connected to the support you need to continue your therapeutic growth.
"This is immersive therapy for when insight alone hasn't been enough."
Your Journey
Every intensive is tailored, but here's what a typical rhythm might include:
Day 1
The first day builds safety, trust, and group connection through agreements of emotional safety, and gentle warm-up activities. Participants begin exploring themes in a supportive way while getting comfortable with the psychodrama process.
Day 2
The second day invites participants into more focused psychodrama sessions, exploring personal and family themes with greater depth. This is a day where trust, cohesion and attunement between participants is securely formed.
Day 3
The final day focuses on reflection, sharing, and creating personal takeaways. Participants connect with themselves or each other on insights, commit to new dynamics, and leave with tools to handle challenges and successes.
Transformation
After an intensive, clients often describe:
Feeling more grounded and at peace
More confidence in relationships
Past events that once felt overwhelming now feel complete
With self and purpose
That healing really is possible
